The Foundations of Faith Community Nursing curriculum is an intensive course built to equip those wishing to either become a faith community nurse in their faith community or to strengthen the ministry in which they are already involved. The course utilizes the newly revised Church Health Center2019 curriculum. The Westberg Institute is grateful for our partners’ dedication to growing and expanding the practice of faith community nursing. Foundations of Faith Community Nursing is a comprehensive curriculum preparing licensed registered nurses for the specialized practice of professional nursing focused on intentional care of the spirit as well as promotion of whole-person health and preventing or minimizing illness.
